Riley has experience in the game of volleyball in nearly every way. He began playing freshman year at Floyd central High School in 2021. In 2022, Riley joined Louisville Fury Volleyball Club where he was the libero for the first Louisville boys club team to compete in a National Championship. Riley also earned All-American honors that year. Post graduation, Riley attended Wittenberg University for 1 year, playing for the men's volleyball team, and studying business and accounting. In addition, Riley is a licensed IHSAA volleyball official and serves as the Varsity Assistant for the volleyball team at Trinity High School in Louisville, KY.
